The boys and girls basketball playoffs are cruising along throughout Southern California and the top teams and players are focused on reaching the upcoming championship games. Here’s a quick look at some of the top stars and individual performances from the past week throughout SoCal.

SOCAL TOP STARS(Feb. 14-20)

Samantha Maldonado, San Fernando girls basketball: Maldonado had 16 points and 21 rebounds on Wednesday's win over Sun Valley Poly.

Citlali Salazar, Crenshaw girls basketball: Salazar had 29 points, five rebounds, five assists, and four steals against Legacy.

Sophie Marriner, Laguna Beach girls basketball: Marriner stuffed the stat sheet with 14 points, 17 rebounds, five steals and four assists.

Ryann Riddle, La Salle girls basketball: Riddle had 14 points, 17 rebounds, and two blocks against Twentynine Palms on Wednesday.

Emma Dudley, Brentwood School girls basketball: Dudley had 16 points and ten steals in Wednesday's win over Mary Star of the Sea.

Katherine Csiszar, Louisville girls basketball: Csiszar had 12 points, 19 rebounds and four blocks to help the Royals get past Redlands East Valley in the D3-A playoffs.

Blessing McBride, Knight girls basketball: McBride had 29 points, 13 rebounds, and four assists in a loss to San Bernardino.

Lauren Pagtakhan, Heritage girls basketball: Pagtakhan had 29 points, making five of eight three-pointers, in a win over Bishop Diego.

Kristan Yumul, Oxnard girls basketball: Yumul had 21 points, six rebounds, six assists, and three steals in Wednesday's win over Westlake.

David Groner, Trabut V' Torah boys basketball: Groner had 23 points to help the Lions beat Hillcrest Christian by 15 points on Tuesday.

Tyler Howard, Canyon boys basketball: Howard had a double-double with 22 points and 11 rebounds in a playoff win over Riverside King.

Jason Robinson, Riverside Prep boys basketball: Robinson had 21 points, 11 rebounds, and four steals in Friday's win over Temecula Prep.

Tyler Williams, Bishop Diego boys basketball: Williams had 27 points and eight rebounds in Friday's D3-A playoff win over Bell Gardens.

Jaeden Robley, University City boys basketball: Robley had 19 points, 14 rebounds, and four assists to help the Centurions take down Olympian in the play the Division 2 play-in game last week.

Mekhi Sidney, Mount Miguel boys basketball: Sidney had 23 points to help the Matadors close out O'Farrell Charter in the playoffs last week.

Marley Gonzalez, Escondido Charter boys basketball: Gonzalez had 15 points, 22 rebounds, and nine steals in a round one victory over Clairemont.

JJ Bartelloni, Torrey Pines boys basketball: Bartelloni finished with 27 points and knocked down seven three-pointers to help the Falcons beat Cathedral Catholic on Saturday night.

Camden McCormick, Francis Parker boys basketball: McCormick had 29 points and 14 rebounds to help the Lancers hold off El Camino in Saturday's quarterfinal game.

Jaden Matusalem,Mt. Carmel boys basketball: Matusalem had 39 points to help push the Sundevils past Patrick Henry on Saturday night.

Chase Newman,Ramona boys basketball: Newman had 34 points and 12 rebounds in last week's dominating win over Central.

Camrien Hunt, Steele Canyon boys basketball: Hunt had 28 points and 12 rebounds, making nine of ten free throws, to help the Cougars beat Point Loma last week.
