Here are the candidates for SBLive’s Central North Carolina high school football defensive football player of the week for Oct. 31 as nominated by fans, readers and SBLive’s staff. Read through the nominees and cast your vote in our poll. You may vote as often as you like. HERE ARE THIS WEEK'S NOMINEES

Jack Yenichek, Christ the King: Yenichek recorded 12 tackles in a 31-20 win against Bishop McGuinness. He also made his first start of the season at quarterback and ran for 170 yards and four touchdowns.

Paul Widerman, Reidsville: Widerman finished with 10 tackles, 2.5 sacks, four tackles for loss and forced a fumble in a 61-10 win over Morehead.

Sa'Mad Bell, Dudley: Bell had nine tackles and 2.5 sacks in a 35-16 win over Eastern Guilford.

Robert Jordan, Glenn: Jordan recorded 14 tackles in a 21-7 loss to Davie County.

Kamrai Westray, High Point Central: Westray had three interceptions for the Bison in a 40-12 win over Southern Guilford.

Dyvion Barley, Page: Barley had a 91-yard interception return for a touchdown in a 36-6 win over Southeast Guilford.
