We have 10 players nominated this week for SBLive’s North Carolina Girls Basketball Player of the Week from Jan. 15-20 and we ask you, the fans, to help decide who should indeed be the top athlete selected. Voting will conclude on Saturday, Feb. 3 at 11:59 p.m. and the winner will be announced in next week’s poll.

Here are this week's nominees:

Oshauna Holland, Stuart Cramer

The sophomore point guard lit up the scoreboard for a career-high 49 points as Stuart Cramer overwhelmed Kings Mountain 78-19.

Autumn Washington, Ardrey Kell

Washington had a tremendous game with a school-record 37 points along with 16 rebounds as Ardrey Kell held off South Mecklenburg 63-57. The 5-foot-11 sophomore came in averaging 12 points per game.

Zamareya Jones, North Pitt

The North Carolina State signee scored 17 points in the Panthers’ 63-34 win over J.H. Rose. Jones has been selected to play in the McDonald’s All-American game.

Alexis Shehan, Lake Norman

Shehan scored 21 points and got 8 rebounds in her team’s 69-63 victory over Hickory Ridge.

Peyton Caldwell, Freedom

Caldwell scored 24 points in the Lady Cougars’ 57-44 win over Alexander Central.

Jayda Angel, Cape Fear

Angel dominated play with 31 points as the Colts rolled past Lumberton 81-56. One of the state’s top scorers, the 5-foot-8 senior averages 33.6 points, 6.8 rebounds, 4.2 assists and 5.9 steals per game. Angel has committed to Elon.

Gracynn Gough, Charlotte Catholic

The 6-foot senior scored 28 points and grabbed 6 rebounds in a 57-30 win over Providence. She also had 10 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists in a 59-33 rout of Bishop McGuinness.

Madison Drayton, Cannon School

Drayton, a 5-foot-10 freshman guard/forward, had a double-double of 16 points and 12 rebounds along with 5 assists and 3 steals in a 79-70 win over 1 of 1 Academy.

Olivia Tucker, Panther Creek

The 5-foot-7 senior guard had 25 points, 9 rebounds, 3 assists, and 8 steals in a 68-49 victory over Middle Creek.

Brooklynne Evans, South Central

Evans had 14 points and 10 rebounds in the Falcons’ 67-28 romp over New Bern. The 5-foot-11 sophomore also had 12 points and 12 rebounds in a 60-31 thumping of D.H. Conley.
