Anderson gets win over Winton Woods in Eastern Cincinnati Conference play

The Raptors move to 5-1 overall while ending Winton Woods' 20-game regular season winning streak

It came down to a fourth down stop by the defense to end the game as Anderson defeated Winton Woods 20-13 win over Anderson in Eastern Cincinnati Conference play Friday night.

Anderson, the No. 25 team in this week’s SBLive Ohio Power 25, improves to 5-1, 4-1, while Winton Woods, ranked No. 19, falls to 5-1, 4-1 and has its 20-game regular season winning streak snapped.

With Winton Woods leading 13-12 at halftime behind a touchdown pass from Bryshawn Brown to Tra’mar Harris with 20 seconds left in the second quarter.

But an interception by Anderson's Antwoine Higgins set the Raptors up deep in Winton Woods territory in the third quarter and running back Bordy Berg made it pay off with a 20-yard touchdown run. The 2-point conversion made it 20-13.

Berg scored twice on the ground and led Anderson with 76 yards rushing on 16 carries. Quarterback Justice Burnam was 16-of-24 passing for 154 yards and a score and also ran for 59 yards.
