Caden Bailey, Milford football

In his first varsity start, Bailey threw for four touchdowns to cap off a 42-21 win over Turpin. The victory secured Milford’s first Eastern Cincinnati Conference title since 1986 and its first unbeaten season since 1957.

Amiya Bowles, Bexley girls tennis

The sophomore defended her Division II state crown with a 6-1, 6-2 win in the state championship match to give her two state titles in two years.

Ryan Brass, Elder football

With the Panthers down 23-21 and just 14 seconds remaining in the fourth quarter, Brass scored from seven yards out to help defeat La Salle 29-23.

Marquan Braswell, Toledo Central Catholic football

Rushed for 131 yards on 25 carries and four touchdowns to lead the Fighting Irish to a 43-28 victory over Detroit Cass Tech (Michigan).

Adriana Bright, Field girls soccer

Her goal on the final penalty kick of a shootout gave the Falcons a 2-2 (5-4 PK) win over St. Vincent-St. Mary in the sectional final.

Tess Bucher, North Canton Hoover girls tennis

With a 6-3, 3-6, 6-4 victory over Westlake’s Amara Brahmbhatt in the Division I state championship match, the University of Kentucky commit won Hoover’s first state tennis title. 

Isaac Bunts, Perkins football

In a 55-28 win at Tiffin Columbian, Bunts finished with 248 yards on 30 carries and three touchdowns. Bunts’ biggest play of the night came on a 56-yard touchdown run in the first quarter.

Devlan Daniel, Indian Hill football

The freshman running back had 14 carries for 260 yards and three touchdowns in the Braves' 44-13 road win over Taylor.

Ryan Dwyer, Aurora football

With Aurora down 7-3 in the fourth quarter, the backup quarterback came up clutch for the Greenmen, throwing a 25-yard touchdown pass in the final minutes against Highland to help Aurora beat Highland 9-7 to take the Suburban League crown.

Brandon Escobar, Mayfield boys soccer

Scored a goal in overtime in the 103rd minute to lift the Wildcats over Willoughby South 3-2 in the sectional semifinals.

Vaughn Harber, Columbus St. Francis DeSales boys golf

Took home the Division I state title and broke the OHSAA individual state tournament record by firing a 69-66-135 at the Ohio State University’s Scarlet Course.

Justin “Hawk” Hill, Buchtel football

Scored two touchdowns in the Griffins’ 31-0 win over Firestone to help Buchtel finish the regular season at .500 and 4-1 in t he Akron City Series.

Diore Hubbard, Gahanna Lincoln football

Ran for 264 yards on 35 carries and three touchdowns in the Lions’ 35-28 win over Pickerington North in double overtime.

Braydon Johnson, Lakota West football

Finished with 74 yards on the ground and four scores in the Firebirds’ 42-14 victory over Hamilton. Johnson had three rushing touchdowns and a 61-yard touchdown reception in the second half.

Tyler “Ty” Kaufmann, Avon football

The junior running back had touchdown runs of 17 and 63 yards in the first half to help the Eagles defeat Avon Lake 45-0.

Justin Knouff, Marion Local football

Led the offense with four touchdown passes, including a 56-yarder in the second quarter, as Marion Local scored 28 straight points to beat Coldwater 35-14.

Christian Lynch, Ursuline football

The Princeton commit scored three touchdowns en route to defeating Cardinal Mooney 35-16.

Siena Maschke, Laurel girls golf

Won the OHSAA Division I girls state title with a 70-73-143 on the Ohio State University Grey Course. 

Lucas Weaver, Walsh Jesuit football

The junior running back scored twice in the fourth quarter to help the Bruins top Padua 44-41 and win the Crown Conference title.

Brandon White, St. Edward football

With the score tied 7-7 in the fourth quarter, White scored the game-winning touchdown on a 13-yard run. The sophomore running back finished with 130 yards on 25 carries and a touchdown as the Eagles edged Archbishop Hoban 14-7.

Mike Wright Jr., Massillon football

Wright Jr. played on both sides of the ball, recording three sacks on defense and rushing for 11 yards and a touchdown on offense. The Tigers defeated Canton McKinley 35-0.
