Gage Gundy, Stillwater baseball

In an 8-7 win against Sand Springs for the regional title, Gundy hit three home runs. That win advanced them into the Class 6A state tournament.

Cooper Auschwitz, Owasso baseball

In an 11-inning marathon, Auschwitz scored the game-winning, and only, run against Tulsa Union last Wednesday. The Rams went on to defeat Bartlesville to win the regional championship.

Camden Bates, Washington baseball

In last week’s regional championship win, Bates went 5-for-5 and hit a home run for the Warriors.

Caty Baack, North Rock Creek slow pitch softball

The Lady Cougar softball team won back-to-back state titles and a two-run homer from Baack in the fourth inning went a long way in doing that.

Abbie Tovar, Red Oak slow pitch softball

In a 16-3 state championship win, Tovar hit three homers, scoring eight runs.

Turner Lady Falcon golf team

The Lady Falcons won the Class 2A team title by a whopping 153 strokes. That is their third consecutive state championship.

Jaci Hartman finished with a two-day total of 140, Josi Cavitt shot a 143, Braylee Foster shot a 159 and Hope Hill finished with a 162.

Those were the top four finishers in Class 2A. Hadley Hill shot a 171, which was good for a top 10 finish.

Lisa Herman, Jenks girls golf

The freshman led the Lady Trojans to a team championship and Herman was also the gold medalist. The win was her eighth consecutive tournament victory.

Avery Arent, Jenks girls tennis

As a freshman, Arent showed why she was the best tennis player across the state. She didn’t drop a set in the entire tournament and won the championship match, 6-1, 6-2.

Paige Ludlam/Sindhya Attura, Edmond Deer Creek girls tennis

The duo claimed a 4-6, 6-2, 6-3 championship win to get the Class 6A No. 1 doubles state championship on Saturday.

Hadley McLanahan, Edmond North girls soccer

McLanahan scored two goals in a 5-0 win against Booker T. Washington.

Tyler Landrum, Jay boys track

At the Class 4A state track meet, Landrum won the 800-meter run with a time of 1:56.93.

Evan Keefe, Hilldale boys track

At the Class 4A state track meet, Keefe won the discus throw with a heave of 174-1.

Kallista Frye, Victory Christian girls track

At the Class 3A meet, Frye won the 100-meter dash with a time of 12.12.

Destiny Downing, Community Christian girls track

As a sophomore, Downing won the high jump event with a jump of 5-6, four inches further than her second-place competitor.

Jacee Seaton, Cache girls soccer/track

Only a sophomore, Seaton has already set five school records. In soccer, she is already the school's all-time leader in career goals with 67 (30 this season), holds the record for the state's top Class 4A regular season district leading goal scorer as a freshman and sophomore.

Then last weekend, at the Class 4A state track meet, she was part of the 400 and 800-meter relay squads that set school records, with the 800 winning first place (1:44.25) and the 400 finishing as runner-up (48.95). Her performance helped give Cache the overall team title, the first track championship in school history.
