PORTLAND, Ore. — Michigan-bound center Tarris Reed Jr. scored 20 points and grabbed seven rebounds to lead Link Academy to an 83-60 victory over Tualatin (Ore.) to win the Les Schwab Invitational title Thursday night at Liberty High School.

Reed Jr. was one of five Link players to score in double figures, joining LSU pledge Julian Phillips (14), Arkansas-bound Jordan Walsh (13), five-star junior Omaha Biliew (11) and high-major point guard prospect Trey Green.

Tualatin (9-1), one of Oregon's top 6A teams in 2021-22, was led by Noah Ogoli's 24 points. Jaden Steppe added 12.

Link Academy (20-0), a first-year high school from Branson, Missouri, is No. 8 in SBLive/Sports Illustrated's Power 25 national basketball rankings.
