This is the only time in the past six seasons (incorporating 46 polls) that Class 6A No. 1 and No. 2 have been separated by one poll point.

The previous closest 1-2 was the poll after 2021 Week 1, when No. 1 Tualatin (11 first-place votes) totaled 159 points to the 157 of No. 2 Central Catholic (four first-place votes). Tualatin was left off one of the 18 ballots that week; Central Catholic was on all 18 ballots and was no lower than fourth on any of them.
