Here are the candidates for SBLive’s Oregon High School Team of the Week for Nov. 13-19 as nominated by coaches, fans and readers. 

Read through the nominees and cast your vote. Voting will conclude Sunday at 11:59 p.m.

Banks football

The unbeaten Braves (12-0) rolled to a 42-7 win over South Umpqua in a Class 3A state playoff semifinal game played at Cottage Grove High School. Junior Max Walker had a touchdown catch and two interceptions in the victory for Banks, which will play Cascade Christian in the state championship game.

Cascade Christian football

The Challengers topped Dayton 42-30 in a Class 3A state playoff semifinal contest played at Cottage Grove High School. Senior quarterback Ashton Moody ran for four touchdowns and threw another for Cascade Christian (12-0), which will clash with Banks in the title game.

Central Catholic football

The Rams won a battle of unbeatens, edging West Linn 12-7 in a Class 6A state playoff semifinal game played at Pioneer Memorial Stadium in Oregon City. Central Catholic got a touchdown, a field goal and a safety in the win. The Rams (12-0) will play Tualatin in the Class 6A state title contest.

Crane football

The Mustangs tipped Myrtle Point 28-22 in a Class 1A 8-man state playoff semifinal game played at Caldera High School in Bend. Sophomore Trenton Potter had both an offensive touchdown and a defensive TD in the win for Crane (10-0), which will face Lost River in the state title contest.

Echo football

The Cougars sprinted to a 34-19 victory against Elkton in a Class 1A 6-man state playoff semifinal game played at Hillsboro Stadium. Senior Sam Wyse ran for 141 yards and two touchdowns in the win for Echo (8-3), which will face Joseph in the state title game.

Henley football

The Hornets stayed unbeaten on the season, moving to 12-0 by posting a 42-13 win over Scappoose in a Class 4A state playoff semifinal game played at Willamette High School in Eugene. Sophomore quarterback Joseph Janney passed for two touchdowns and ran for two more for Henley, which will face Marist Catholic in the state championship game.

Joseph football

The Eagles soared to a 33-19 win over Prairie City/Burnt River in a Class 1A 6-man state playoff semifinal game played at Hermiston High School. Joseph, which moved to 9-1 on the season with the victory, will play Echo in the state championship contest.

Lost River football

The Raiders scored 40 second-half points on their way to posting a 54-28 win over St. Paul in a Class 1A 8-man state playoff semifinal contest played at Caldera High School in Bend. Senior Chase McAuliffe ran for 189 yards and four touchdowns in the win of for Lost River (10-0), which will face Crane in the state championship game.

Lowell football

The Devils punched their title-game ticket by besting Oakland 32-18 in a Class 2A state playoff semifinal game played at Willamette High School in Eugene. JaMar Thurman ran for 179 yards and four touchdowns while also having a TD catch in the win for Lowell (11-1), which will play Weston-McEwen in the state title tilt.

Marist Catholic football

The Spartans claimed a spot in the Class 4A state championship game by scoring a 25-14 win over Seaside in a semifinal contest played at Hillsboro Stadium. Marist Catholic, which improved to 11-1 with the victory, will play Henley in the title contest.

Mountain View football

The Cougars emerged with a 42-19 win over Silverton in a Class 5A state playoff semifinal match-up of unbeaten teams played at McNary High School in Keizer. Senior quarterback Connor Crum passed for 154 yards, ran for 140 and accounted for four total touchdowns in the win for Mountain View (12-0), which will face Wilsonville in the state title contest. 

South Medford football

The Panthers powered their way to a 51-33 win over Clackamas in a Class 6A Columbia Cup semifinal game played at Willamette High School. South Medford, which improved to 9-3, got 250 rushing yards and five touchdowns from senior running back Ryder Scheid in the victory.

Sunset football

The Apollos earned a spot in the Class 6A Columbia Cup championship game by rolling to a 50-21 win over Barlow in a semifinal game played at Wilsonville High School. Sunset, which moved to 8-4 with the win, got both an interception return and a punt return for touchdowns in the victory.

Tualatin football

The Timberwolves pulled away in the second half to post a 42-23 win over previously unbeaten Sherwood in a Class 6A state playoff semifinal game played at Hillsboro Stadium. Senior tight end Jayden Fortier had 324 receiving yards and four touchdowns while senior quarterback Nolan Keeney had 408 passing yards and six TDs for the victors. Tualatin, which improved to 11-1, will face Central Catholic in the title game.

Weston-McEwen football

The TigerScots bested Regis 55-39 in a Class 2A state playoff semifinal game played at Hermiston High School. Junior quarterback Easton Berry accounted for five total touchdowns in the win for 12-0 Weston-McEwen, which will take on Lowell in the state championship contest.

Wilsonville football

The Wildcats earned the chance to play in the Class 5A state championship game for the second straight year, topping Summit 34-2 in a semifinal game played at Willamette University in Salem. Senior quarterback Kallen Gutridge had 309 passing yards and five touchdowns while junior receiver Mark Wiepert had 14 catches for 180 yards and three TDs in the win for Wilsonville (11-1), which will face Mountain View in the title tilt.
