Lily Schenk of Gresham voted the WaFd Bank Oregon Girls Basketball Athlete of the Week

Schenk received 43.23% of the vote, beating out Klamath Union's Dianara Peña, who finished second with 36.77%

Congratulations to Gresham’s Lily Schenk for being voted SBLive’s WaFd Bank Oregon Girls Basketball Athlete of the Week for the week of Feb. 12-18. 

Schenk, a junior guard on the Gresham team, averaged 14.7 and 4.0 rebounds per game during Mt. Hood Conference contests with David Douglas, Sandy and Clackamas, helping the Gophers earn a couple of victories.

Schenk received 43.23% of the vote, beating out Dianara Peña, a senior on the Klamath Union team, who finished second with 36.77%. Ocean Deisner, a senior on the Tigard team, was third with 19.15% and Kendyl Elias, a junior on the Umpqua Valley Christian team, was fourth with 0.73%. There were more than 9,000 votes tallied this week.
