Ksani Jiles, Miami Hurricanes cornerback commit, visiting Alabama: 'Nick Saban is a legend'

IMG Academy (Florida) rising star Ksani Jiles is set to visit Alabama this weekend

It's extremely early in the 2026 recruiting cycle, but a few big names are already off the board.

IMG Academy (Florida) elite cornerback prospect Ksani Jiles committed to the Miami Hurricanes in May while he was still a freshman.

But the 6-foot, 180-pound defensive back holds offers from LSU, USC, Utah and more, and has generated interest from many of the nation's top program.

Perhaps it's just to make sure he's made the right choice, or perhaps he's still looking around, but Jiles plans on taking visits beyond Miami.

This weekend, for example, he'll be in Tuscaloosa to watch No. 13 Alabama take on No. 15 Ole Miss is a marquee SEC showdown.

For Jiles, the reason for his trip is simple.

"Nick Saban is a legend and Alabama has a great program (and) tradition," he said.

It's early, but Alabama has one pledge in the class of 2026, Carrollton (Georgia) interior offensive lineman Zykie Helton, who projects as one of America's best young linemen.

As for Miami, the 'Canes have a pair of pledges, Jiles and American Heritage (Florida) wide receiver Malachi Toney, who chose Mario Cristobal's program over Alabama, Florida State and Ohio State in May
