Alvin Henderson visiting Miami Hurricanes: 'Honestly, I'm fired up'

Miami hosting elite running back this weekend

The Miami Hurricanes are hosting an impressive collection of visitors this weekend.

For one offensive weapon, in particular, the trip is particularly noteworthy because it's his first gameday visit.

Elba (Alabama) four-star ball-carrier Alvin Henderson, the nation's No. 3 running back in the class of 2025, intends to be at the game (first reported by Chad Simmons):

"Honestly," I’m fired up and can’t wait to get down and meet everyone on the staff (and) all of the players," he said. "I’ve built relationships with everyone down there since Day 1, so now I’m ready to get down and experience everything."

Henderson has accumulated more than 40 scholarship offers, but has trimmed his list to a top 10 of Alabama, Arkansas, Auburn, Florida State, Georgia, Miami, Oregon, Penn State, Tennessee and USC.

And it hasn't been difficult to see why he's so coveted.

Last week, the dynamic back carried the ball 20 times for 367 yards and seven touchdowns.

It's still early in Henderson's recruitment, but it's clear he is beginning to cut things down.

Miami will get its chance to impress him this weekend.
