Jordan Seaton sets imminent commitment date; Nation's No. 1 offensive tackle ready to announce decision

The nation's top uncommitted prospect is ready to come off the board.

IMG Academy (Florida) five-star offensive tackle Jordan Seaton will announce his college commitment Thursday and is down to a final six of Alabama, Florida, Maryland, Ohio State, Oregon and Tennessee:

The 6-foot-6, 295-pound lineman is rated the nation's No. 6 overall prospect and No. 1 offensive tackle.

So, where is he headed?

Seaton has kept his recruitment close to the vest throughout, but has visited several programs this fall.

247Sports has not logged a crystal ball prediction for the elite offensive lineman, while On3 currently projects a battle between Alabama and Ohio State.

However, things may have changed.

Seaton, who visited Ohio State over the weekend, also had high praise for fall trips to Florida, Oregon and Tennessee.

The Ducks, Gators and Volunteers may have an outside shot at pulling out what some may deem as an upset - with Ohio State getting the final visit after being the perceived favorite in recent months. 

Still, Seaton's recruitment is a difficult one to predict heading into the final days, so no one should be completely counted out.

One thing is certain: Landing Seaton would be a major recruiting coup for the team that secures his commitment.
