7 questions with Marjon Beauchamp, Rainier Beach High School

How would you describe your game?

I can score the ball very well and can shoot the ball. I not only score but make my teammates better and my IQ is good. My length bothers other players on my defensive side.

What are your goals for this season, both individually and as a team? 

Individual: I want to get metro MVP and 1st Team All-State.
Team: Win the State Title and have a banner up in our gym with all our names.

How would you describe your coach?

My coach, he knows what he’s talking about and he is a loving, caring dude. He just doesn't about our basketball futures but he prepares us for life and cares about our education. He’s just a legend I think.

Who is your favorite player?

LeBron James

Who is your toughest matchup this season and why?

Eastside Catholic, they have bigger dudes than us and they play well together and have a good coach.

What is your favorite gym in the state to play in?

Ingraham High School because I scored 43 points in that gym and hit 10 3s!

What are your aspirations as a player?

My aspirations are to make it to the NBA and be an NBA Legend one day... so I can help others and my family.
