Congratulations to last week's winner: Gunnar Garelli of Lyons (Illinois).

Here are this week's nominees:

Gabe Logan (Delbarton, NJ) 150 – Logan sits in the honorable mention section of our 150lb rankings. In the Non-Public A state dual finals, Logan faced No. 21 Zach Ballante (St. Joseph Regional) and handed the favorite a 6-3 loss to help his team gain points en route to the state title.

Jonthan Fuller (St. Peter Prep, NJ) 150 – The Honorable mention Fuller, handed Ballante another unexpected loss earlier in the New Jersey state dual tournament coming out ahead as the underdog, 2-1.

Max Stein (Faith Christian Academy, PA) 152 – Stein is ranked 20th in the nation at 150 and in the AA state dual finals he was facing super freshman, No. 6 Melvin Miller. Stein needed overtime to pull of the upset, but he did so with a 6-1 score in the sudden victory frame to help get his squadron closer to winning their second straight dual meet crown, which they did.

JoJo Przybycien (Ft. Leboeuf, PA) 152 – Teams move wrestlers around all the time in dual meets, in this AA state dual tournament encounter, Warrior Run’s coach decided to push No. 10 Reagan Milheim up to 152 from his normal 145 spot. The move backfired as Przybycien got the best of Milheim, 3-2 in the tiebreaker portion of the match.

Nicholas Campagna (Christian Brothers, NJ) 157 – Campagna has been on our radar for some time now, but each good win seems like it is followed by a few frustrating losses. This weekend, he put up one of those good wins as he is unranked nationally but defeated Joey Monticello (Don Bosco Prep, No. 22 at 150), 9-8.

Devon Magro (Bishop McCort, PA) 160 – While his team fell in the finals to Faith Christian Academy, No. 18 Magro did all he could to stop that from happening by pulling off a mild upset of No. 17 Cael Weidemoyer, 6-4. Weidemoyer defeated Magro in the preseason at The Surge Tournament in Pennsylvania.

Anders Thompson (Flathead, MT) 205 – Montana uses a rare set of weight classes that results in them having a 205lb weight. Thompson is ranked ninth at 190 in our national rankings. Thompson destroyed his opponents on the way to the finals posting three pins, all in under a minute – 24, 57, and 53 seconds, before downing Cooper Freitag (Billings West), 13-4, in the AA State Finals.
