Here are the candidates for SBLive Sports Maryland High School Boys Basketball Player of the Week for Jan. 8-14 as nominated by fans, readers and SBLive's staff. Read through our notes on each nominee and then cast your vote in out poll.

Voting will conclude on Sunday, January 21st at 11:59 p.m. and the winner will be announced next week.

Here are this week's nominees:

Damon Breland, South Hagerstown: The senior posted 20 points and 14 rebounds in a victory over Boonsboro, and 19 points, 11 rebounds and five blocked shots in a victory over Thomas Johnson.

Jordan Brown, Broadneck: The senior scored 13 of his 19 points in the fourth quarter as Broadneck rallied for a 62-57 victory over Glen Burnie.

James Crimaudo, South River: The senior scored 28 points in South River’s 52-47 victory over Old Mill.

Patrick Curtin, Glenelg Country: The junior guard totaled 110 points in three victories, including 36 points in a 63-62 victory over Mount St. Joseph.

Jeff Exinor, McDonogh: The junior forward scored a game-high 30 points in McDonogh’s 58-55 triumph over Boys’ Latin.

Chase Foster, Edmondson: The 6-foot-10 sophomore scored 25 of his 26 points in the second half as Edmondson rallied for a 62-46 victory over C. Milton Wright.

Caleb Franze, Gerstell Academy: Franze finished with 24 points and eight assists in Gerstell’s 57-39 victory over Westminster, and 28 points in a 59-54 loss to St. Paul’s.

Will Frost, Crofton: Frost scored 25 points in Crofton’s 62-27 victory over Chesapeake-Anne Arundel.

Kingston Price, Severn: Price had a game-high 32 points in Severn’s 72-50 victory over Annapolis Area Christian.

Max Rueckert, Fallston: Rueckert finished with 30 points in Fallston’s 78-38 victory over Rising Sun.
